Dr. Mariagrazia Anna Buratti

Dr. Mariagrazia Anna Buratti holds a degree in Pedagogy with a psycholinguistic focus from the University of Turin, as well as a University Diploma in Speech Therapy and Audiometry from the University of Milan. She earned a Master’s in Adult and Elderly Prosthetic Rehabilitation from the University of Milan, a Master’s in the Management of Dysphagia in Cerebral Palsy from the University School of Villeneuve d’Ascq (France), and a Master’s in Orofacial Neuromotor Disorders in Cerebral Palsy from the University of Paris. She also completed the International Master Course “Updating in Phoniatrics and Logopedics” at the University of Milan.

Dr. Buratti is currently a consulting speech therapist at Legnano Hospital (Milan) in the ENT and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit, and a senior speech therapist at D&R – Diagnosis & Rehabilitation Multispecialty Center in Saronno (Italy) and Lugano (Switzerland). She is also responsible for the clinic for swallowing/feeding disorders at the Don S. Ronchi Center in Brescia, where she specializes in the diagnostic-functional assessment of patients with speech and communication disorders, with a particular focus on feeding and swallowing disorders.

She is an expert in orofacial neuromotor assessments in newborns and infants, including premature infants, and works with psychogenic phagophobia (feeding disorders linked to food aversion) in children aged 0–16.
She is a trainer for the “ONE TO ONE” project with SEF Editing, specializing in pediatric swallowing/dysphagia, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.

Dr. Buratti has served on the board of ALL (Lombardy Speech Therapists’ Association) and on the board of SSLI (Italian Scientific Society of Speech Therapists). She has published numerous articles in the field of speech therapy, with a particular focus on pediatric dysphagia.
