Les craintes exprim\u00e9es par certains p\u00e9diatres et parents qui n\u2019adh\u00e8rent pas \u00e0 cette pratique concernent un risque accru d\u2019\u00e9touffement et une alimentation jug\u00e9e inadapt\u00e9e ou peu nutritive, susceptible d\u2019entra\u00eener un retard de croissance.<\/p>\n<p>Il n\u2019est pas facile d\u2019\u00e9valuer l\u2019auto-diversification de mani\u00e8re objective, car elle est rarement appliqu\u00e9e de fa\u00e7on exclusive. Souvent, un m\u00eame enfant re\u00e7oit \u00e0 la fois des aliments de la table familiale et des pur\u00e9es traditionnelles. De plus, le choix des aliments propos\u00e9s d\u00e9pend largement des habitudes alimentaires, plus ou moins saines, de la famille. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les premi\u00e8res \u00e9tudes sur le sujet ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9es, men\u00e9es \u00e0 une \u00e9chelle relativement large (12).<\/p>\n\t\t<div En revanche, elles ne mettent pas non plus en \u00e9vidence une meilleure capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 percevoir la sati\u00e9t\u00e9 ni un risque r\u00e9duit d\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9.
