La position qui laisse le plus de libert\u00e9 au b\u00e9b\u00e9 est <strong>pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment celle du breast crawl:<\/strong> la m\u00e8re s\u2019installe en appui, le dos soutenu par des coussins adoss\u00e9s au canap\u00e9, \u00e0 la t\u00eate de lit ou \u00e0 un fauteuil, place le b\u00e9b\u00e9 sur sa poitrine, ventre contre ventre, en position verticale, et le laisse trouver le mamelon et t\u00e9ter de mani\u00e8re autonome. Pour les premi\u00e8res t\u00e9t\u00e9es, on recommande \u00e9galement la prise de transition, qui permet \u00e0 la m\u00e8re de mieux contr\u00f4ler la prise du sein et aide le b\u00e9b\u00e9 \u00e0 se sentir contenu et prot\u00e9g\u00e9, afin qu\u2019il puisse se d\u00e9tendre et se concentrer uniquement sur la t\u00e9t\u00e9e. La m\u00e8re tient l\u2019enfant avec un bras, bien plaqu\u00e9 contre son corps, \u00e9ventuellement avec les pieds sous son aisselle, et le met au sein oppos\u00e9. Lorsque tout son corps est soutenu, le b\u00e9b\u00e9 apprend plus facilement \u00e0 prendre correctement le sein et \u00e0 t\u00e9ter.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e8re, cependant, doit elle aussi \u00eatre confortable afin de pouvoir se d\u00e9tendre pendant la t\u00e9t\u00e9e et d\u2019\u00e9viter les tensions musculaires au niveau du cou, des \u00e9paules et du dos. Elle peut, par exemple, placer un coussin sous le bras qui soutient le b\u00e9b\u00e9 afin d\u2019en all\u00e9ger partiellement le poids. La prise de transition est une variante de la position en berceau, utilis\u00e9e par la majorit\u00e9 des m\u00e8res, notamment \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du domicile. La m\u00e8re soutient le b\u00e9b\u00e9 avec un bras, le tenant contre son corps, le nez face au mamelon, et l\u2019installe au sein du m\u00eame c\u00f4t\u00e9, ce qui lui laisse une main autre option est la <strong>position en ballon de rugby<\/strong> (ou sous le bras) : le corps du b\u00e9b\u00e9 est plac\u00e9 sous le bras de la m\u00e8re, du m\u00eame c\u00f4t\u00e9 que le sein \u00e0 partir duquel il t\u00e8te ; la m\u00e8re soutient la t\u00eate de l\u2019enfant avec sa main, en la maintenant face au sein, tandis que les pieds sont dirig\u00e9s vers le dos maternel. Cette position est utile apr\u00e8s une c\u00e9sarienne, car le b\u00e9b\u00e9 n\u2019appuie pas sur la cicatrice, lorsque la m\u00e8re a une poitrine g\u00e9n\u00e9reuse et souhaite mieux contr\u00f4ler la prise du sein, ou lorsque le nouveau-n\u00e9 est un peu paresseux, car le flux de lait est plus fort d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but dans cette position.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s une c\u00e9sarienne ou juste apr\u00e8s l\u2019accouchement, mais aussi chaque fois que la m\u00e8re souhaite se reposer, il est possible d\u2019allaiter allong\u00e9e sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9, en corps \u00e0 corps avec le b\u00e9b\u00e9, son visage face au sein et le nez \u00e0 hauteur du mamelon, en l\u2019aidant \u00e0 rester en position en pla\u00e7ant un bras derri\u00e8re son dos.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4707\" src=\"https:\/\/babywellnessfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/4_posizioni-per-allattare-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"665\" srcset=\"https:\/\/babywellnessfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/4_posizioni-per-allattare-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/babywellnessfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/4_posizioni-per-allattare-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/babywellnessfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/4_posizioni-per-allattare-2-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/babywellnessfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/4_posizioni-per-allattare-2-100x67.jpg 100w, https:\/\/babywellnessfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/4_posizioni-per-allattare-2-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Enfin, il existe la <strong>position de la louve<\/strong>, recommand\u00e9e en cas de canaux lactif\u00e8res obstru\u00e9s ou d\u2019engorgement mammaire. Le b\u00e9b\u00e9 est allong\u00e9 sur le dos au milieu du lit, ou sur un coussin si n\u00e9cessaire, et la m\u00e8re se place \u00e0 quatre pattes au-dessus de lui pour l\u2019allaiter par le dessus. La gravit\u00e9 et la succion du b\u00e9b\u00e9 favorisent le drainage du sein et soulagent la sensation de tension mammaire. Quelle que soit la position choisie \u2014 que chaque duo m\u00e8re-enfant trouve ensemble apr\u00e8s quelques essais \u2014 il est toujours essentiel de v\u00e9rifier que la prise du sein est correcte. Le b\u00e9b\u00e9 doit \u00eatre positionn\u00e9 avec le nez face au mamelon, la bouche grande ouverte, englobant une bonne partie de l\u2019ar\u00e9ole et jamais seulement le mamelon.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de la t\u00e9t\u00e9e, le b\u00e9b\u00e9 alterne naturellement succion et d\u00e9glutition, et aucun claquement ou autre bruit ne devrait \u00eatre audible. Si la prise du sein n\u2019est pas correcte et que la m\u00e8re ressent une douleur, il convient de d\u00e9tacher doucement le b\u00e9b\u00e9 et de r\u00e9essayer de le repositionner. L\u2019allaitement ne doit jamais \u00eatre douloureux.
