Durante el embarazo, de hecho, el feto no utiliza sus propios pulmones para respirar, sino que recibe ox\u00edgeno a trav\u00e9s de la placenta mediante el <strong>cord\u00f3n umbilical<\/strong>. Cuando la madre inspira, su sangre se enriquece con ox\u00edgeno, que es transportado al feto mediante un complejo sistema de vasos sangu\u00edneos placentarios. Al mismo tiempo, el feto expulsa di\u00f3xido de carbono que pasa a la madre para ser eliminado a trav\u00e9s de su expiraci\u00f3n. Este mecanismo interconectado asegura la supervivencia y el bienestar fetal hasta el momento del nacimiento.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"background-color: #e8eff4; color: white; padding: 5px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #006271;\">Desarrollo pulmonar fetal<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>El sistema respiratorio se desarrolla progresivamente durante el embarazo siguiendo un calendario preciso:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>D\u00eda 24<\/strong>: inicio del desarrollo del \u00e1rbol respiratorio.<\/li>\n<li><strong>D\u00eda 28<\/strong>: formaci\u00f3n de los bronquios principales.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Semana 16<\/strong>: formaci\u00f3n de los bronquiolos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Semana 28<\/strong>: finalizaci\u00f3n estructural del pulm\u00f3n, incluidos los alv\u00e9olos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alrededor de la semana <strong>32 de gestaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, aunque a\u00fan no completamente maduros, los pulmones permiten al feto realizar movimientos respiratorios tor\u00e1cicos, prepar\u00e1ndose para la respiraci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma. <strong>La maduraci\u00f3n pulmonar completa<\/strong>, con una producci\u00f3n adecuada de surfactante (sustancia esencial para garantizar la funcionalidad pulmonar fuera del \u00fatero), <strong>ocurre alrededor de la semana 35\u201336<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El feto necesita todo el per\u00edodo de embarazo (aproximadamente 9 meses) para completar gradualmente el desarrollo fisiol\u00f3gico, preparando as\u00ed el cuerpo para la vida extrauterina.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"background-color: #e8eff4; color: white; padding: 5px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #006271;\">Inicio de la respiraci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma al nacer<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Inmediatamente despu\u00e9s del nacimiento, la primera respiraci\u00f3n marca la apertura de los alv\u00e9olos pulmonares al intercambio gaseoso necesario para la oxigenaci\u00f3n de la sangre. La mayor\u00eda de los reci\u00e9n nacidos realiza la primera respiraci\u00f3n dentro de los 20 segundos posteriores al nacimiento y desarrolla un <strong>ritmo respiratorio regular dentro de los 90 segundos<\/strong>. En los primeros momentos de vida, el neonato puede presentar pausas respiratorias breves mientras el sistema respiratorio se adapta a la nueva condici\u00f3n extrauterina.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el parto vaginal, la compresi\u00f3n tor\u00e1cica seguida por la reexpansi\u00f3n facilita el paso pasivo del aire a los pulmones, pero los principales est\u00edmulos para la respiraci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma son el enfriamiento cut\u00e1neo y la estimulaci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica, que activan el centro respiratorio cerebral.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #E8EFF4; padding: 20px;\"><strong><em>El primer grito del neonato no es solo una se\u00f1al de vida, sino que representa simb\u00f3licamente la transici\u00f3n definitiva de la respiraci\u00f3n fetal a la pulmonar.<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"background-color: #e8eff4;
