Dr. Giovanna Rossi

Dr. Giovanna Rossi is a midwife and trainer in breastfeeding promotion following WHO/UNICEF guidelines. She is a sexology consultant at the Research and Training Institute of the International Institute of Sexology in Florence. She serves as the head of ArOP (Birth Pathway and Counseling Services) at ASL Latina and is a board member of the Midwives’ Council of Latina. Additionally, she is the corporate midwifery coordinator for home births.

She holds a First-Level Master’s in Community Midwifery and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences (L-24 class – Psychological Science and Techniques) from the Leonardo Da Vinci University in Chieti. She is a certified instructor of Natural Family Planning methods and a basic trainer in statistical methods in epidemiology at the Italian National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) in Rome.

She holds a Level 1 certificate in urogynecological rehabilitation techniques, obtained at the Continence Center of Villa Verde Clinic in Reggio Emilia, and a diploma in psychosomatics and obstetric psychoprophylaxis based on the R.A.T. method.

A speaker at various training events, she has taken part in numerous conferences and seminars, including “Women Along the Breastfeeding Journey”, The First-Level Master’s “Pelvic Floor and Rehabilitation” at La Sapienza University of Rome and “Sex Education and Adolescents” at the National Congress of the Italian Federation of Scientific Sexology (FISS), held at the University of Turin.
